Role Purpose
The role of the Demand & Supply Planner is to develop and facilitate the consensus forecast for the assigned brand on SPGR level aiming to balance between the relevant KPIs [Service Level, Forecast Accuracy, Bias & Inventory Value]. The role of 3PM Coordinator is to ensure that productions are taking place at the right time to fulfill the demand while controlling the levels of inventories in Raw & Packs to avoid high left overs. Is a key role for Supply Chain aiming to deliver value in the business by delivering the business plan in a cost efficient way by collaborating with Marketing & Sales.
Accountabilities
- Develops an accurate and unbiased forecast over a 12 month horizon for the assigned categories- Body, Shower, Sun.
- Build planning intelligent considering past sales, current trends, marketing plans & Distributor Data (Stocks & IMS) to challenge CCMs & Marketing for the overall benefit of business.
- Build up strong relationships with Marketing, Finance and other stakeholders [Supply side – HUB, PCs].
- Ensure healthy stock level at company & at distributors.
- Provide relevant input to the S&OP process for the assigned brands.
- Leads Forecast accuracy improvement plans for assigned Brands by performing root cause analysis and action planning where appropriate.
- Steers improvements initiative by identifying process gaps and by taking the lead to close the gaps.
- Maintain Nart master data for the assigned brands groups.
- Maintain planning master data [History Correction, Statistical Forecasting, Safety Stocks, ABC XYZ classification, stock transfer horizon etc.].
- Handle launch-relaunch activities [changes in forecast, safety stock, left over costs].
- Assure a smooth 3PM phase out by:
- Steering last production cycles
- Monitoring R&P and LORs
- Sharing MIP (monthly importation plan) to local 3PM
- Organizing Trucks from 3PM to LSP
- Organizing stock allocations from 3PMs to DTs for direct shipments
- Responsible for KPI’s: Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Service Level, DIH, Stock Coverage.
