Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description

International French company with worldwide implementation operating in a demanding environment with a strong service culture is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator located in Dubai Offices. The Supply Chain Division performs a central role in the implementation of end-to-end supply chain management across the Company. The Division provides direction and advice on logistical matters, monitors and assesses the delivery of strategic transportation and support services, and directs the delivery of transportation and specialist support services in the point of sales of air transport, ground transport, and sea transport. The SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR will support all the operations of our activities in accordance with the corporate rules and policies. Within the Supply Chain department, he will report to the Supply Chain Manager and his/her main duties and responsibilities will be as follows: Freight :

  • Be responsible of all the inbound and outbound freight of the company
  • Identify and assess freight forwarders companies and contacts : in China, ME, USA, Europe
  • Organize all shipments coming from china ( dangerous goods, LCL/FCL) in order to maintain a sufficient level of stock in the warehouse : be in charge of the freight from the quotation to the physical arrival of the products
  • Be constantly in touch with suppliers, freight forwarders company, and intern contact to succeed to find space at the best price in the actual context and give clear updates of the pending shipments
  • Be a real asset to the company to help on certification and technical requirement to import products in the different areas : Middle East, USU, Europe ( knowledge of HS Codes/ MSDS/ MOH certification)
  • Create reports and analyses in order to keep the top management informed of the freight situation and cost
Warehousing/purchasing :
  • Manage monthly inventories valorization ( Warehouses/ POS) and ensure their accuracy by a consistency control of the stocks to identify any discrepancies : Send monthly reports on stock valorization and liaise with finance department to confirm the accuracy of the results
  • Be the main point of contact of the subcontracted warehouses of the company mostly in Jebel Ali but also in Europe ( Rotterdam) and USA ( Chicago)
  • Monitor the flow of the stocks (in- & out comings stocks) in order to limit the deviations and alert in case of any deviance
Profile
  • High School degree or equivalent,
  • English proficiency (Minimum level required B2 - both verbal & written)
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite with good knowledge in Excel spreadsheet (Pivot table, Vlookup...)
  • 3-5 years experience as a logistics assistant or as a procurement officer
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the supply chain & transportation processes, especially of international freight (Incoterm, HS CODE, Freight forwarders)
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Accurate rigor and details oriented
  • Be curious and proactive
  • Adaptability and flexibility, and ready to work in a moving environment
  • Team player
  • Good stress management
  • Knowledge of ODOO will be a real asset
Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
