We are looking for a reliable and efficient Delivery Rider to join our team and ensure our delicious meals reach our customers promptly and in perfect condition.
The Delivery Rider is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of food orders to customers within a designated delivery zone. This role requires excellent navigation skills, a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, and adherence to all traffic laws and restaurant policies.
Key Responsibilities
Food Delivery:
Pick up food orders from the kitchen in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the order against the delivery slip.
Verify the quality and presentation of food items before departure.
Transport food orders safely and efficiently to customer locations using a restaurant-provided motorcycle.
Ensure food arrives hot/cold and in excellent condition, maintaining hygiene standards.
Customer Service
Represent the restaurant professionally and courteously during all customer interactions.
Handle cash and card payments accurately upon delivery and provide correct change.
Address customer inquiries or concerns politely and escalate issues to the restaurant manager when necessary.
Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:
Conduct daily pre-delivery checks of the motorcycle (tires, brakes, lights, fuel, etc.) to ensure it is in good working order.
Adhere strictly to all UAE traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery motorcycle.
Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the management.
Operational Support:
Assist with restaurant duties during downtime between deliveries, such as cleaning, packing orders, or organizing delivery supplies, as directed by the restaurant manager.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.navigate efficiently using GPS.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash and payment transactions accurately.
Knowledge of basic motorcycle maintenance is an advantage.
Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry delivery bags.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements
Valid UAE Motorcycle Driving License (essential).
Proven experience as a delivery rider, preferably in a restaurant or food delivery setting, is a plus.
Familiarity with the local area/delivery zones
