:
  • Deliver pharmaceutical products, prescription medications, medical equipment, and other healthcare supplies to residential addresses, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies as per assigned routes.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure that the correct items are delivered to the right recipients. Cross-check prescriptions and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interactions with customers and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules and delivery windows. Communicate any delays to the dispatcher or supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery (POD) signatures, invoices, and any necessary documentation for controlled substances or medical devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the delivery vehicle, such as checking fuel levels, tire pressure, and reporting any issues or defects to the appropriate authority.
  • Adhere to all traffic rules and safety regulations while driving. Handle pharmaceuticals and medical supplies with care, following proper handling guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels in the delivery vehicle, ensuring that products are properly organized and secured.
Responsibilities:
  • Work in all shifts as scheduled by the Head of Department.
  • Strictly adheres to organization's regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety, OSHMS, DOH, JCI and ISO.
  • Supports Continuous Quality Improvement and participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service.
  • Participates and contributes in scheduled in-service training programs.
  • Exercises effective interpersonal skills in dealings with department staff, associates and Management.
  • Maintains confidentiality as per the agreement signed.
  • Demonstrates the ability to listen to others in promoting effective communication.
  • Develops thorough understanding of policies and procedures of the hospital and demonstrates respect for them.
  • Carries out other duties when requested by the Head of department
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid UAE driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of the local road network and routes within the UAE.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry medical supplies as
needed. * Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical products.
  • Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology is a plus.
