Job Description

The Dealer will be responsible for executing client trades, monitoring risk exposure, and managing the company's dealing desk operations. The role requires a strong understanding of forex markets, derivatives, and trading platforms, along with the ability to act quickly in fast-moving market conditions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and monitor client orders (manual and automatic) across forex, commodities, indices, and CFD products. Provide accurate pricing and spreads to clients, ensuring competitiveness and minimal slippage. Monitor real-time market conditions, news, and economic events that may impact trading activities. Manage risk exposure by hedging positions with liquidity providers and maintaining acceptable book balances. Identify and escalate unusual trading activity, market abuse, or potential compliance risks. Maintain constant communication with liquidity providers, brokers, and trading platform providers. Assist in managing the company's P&L and risk limits across products. Ensure all dealing activities comply with company policies, CISI standards (if certified), and local/global regulatory requirements (FCA, DFSA, ESMA, CySEC, etc.). Support IT/Operations in troubleshooting trading platform issues (MT4, MT5, cTrader, etc.). Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on client activity, exposures, and dealing performance. Provide market insights and trade commentary to the sales/relationship management teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience as a Dealer/Trader in forex, CFDs, or financial markets. Strong knowledge of FX instruments, derivatives, and market microstructure. Proficiency in trading platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader, FIX API) and Bloomberg/Refinitiv terminals. Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-risk environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexible to work in shifts to cover global trading hours. Preferred Attributes: CISI certification or equivalent (advantage, not mandatory). Experience in risk management and hedging strategies. Familiarity with algorithmic/quantitative trading tools. Multilingual ability is a plus (English, Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Hindi, etc.).
