Responsibilities

The positions on this role are responsible for support drilling/well operations. Based on their experience in multiple complex environments, leads these processes on conventional and/ or complex wells and will take part in tender responses related to these projects. Responsible for development of well programs, operating procedures, presentations, end-of-well reports and other documentation as required. These positions could work closely with several disciplines involved into the well construction process, inside and outside of Weatherford. Their specific responsibilities will be different depending on their Product Line and/or assignation. The Lead Applications Engineer provides the main engineering interface with the client

Responsibilities and Duties (not listed in any particular order)

• Responsible for providing DD and MLWD services from a remote location. Monitoring the tools outputs and providing customer deliverables.
• Provides technical support as DD and MLWD Remote Engineer, to safely meet the well expectations, maintaining service quality & reliability.
• Involved with the design, execution, evaluation and optimization drilling analysis of conventional and complex wells. He/she follows the Drilling Engineering process and provides real time decision support to Drilling Services Engineers (Operations, Sales, Management, etc) and clients.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:

• Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in Drilling Services Operations.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with minimum 7 years field operations experience. Petroleum Engineer degree preferred
• Minimum 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working as Directional Driller and 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working as MLWD.
• Previous experience with RTOC is preferred.
• Trained in: Directional Drilling and MLWD
• Strong computer skills: AutoCad, MS Project, Visio, Office, etc. BHA Engineering, Drilling Bits and hydraulic, Drilling Fluids, Jar Placement
• Strong experience in Oil and Gas Software
• Good presentation skills
• Fluent in English
