Key Accountabilities (6 \xe2\x80\x93 8 accountabilities max)

• Full responsibility of the Database Infrastructure.
• Monitor production database infrastructure, identifying emerging data-related issues, including system-level and SQL-level performance and database storage utilization, performing tuning and initiating proactive mitigating measures as appropriate; provides data-related incident response; and coordinates with Operations Support and others as necessary.
• Manage SQL database infrastructures.
• Install, maintain and monitor the performance of database servers.
• Develop processes for optimizing database security.
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
• Responds quickly and effectively to production issues, troubleshooting solutions, and taking responsibility for seeing those solutions through resolution.
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of the database infrastructure.
• Develop, manage and test backup and recovery plans for database servers.
• Follow the escalation matrix and update the flash report for the delayed projects in order to notify the management and other stakeholders.
• Update the managers on open problem notifications, production issues.

4. Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degrees in computer science or equivalent

Experience:

• Strong experience around database tools.
• Significant experience around leading tools related projects and supporting the same for about 5 years.

Skills

• Awareness of the current market landscape to stay abreast of best practices around technology solutions on tools and processes,
• Ability to understand the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs in line with the business requirements.
• Understanding of end-to-end processes.
• Ability to prioritize the tasks and deliver assigned task per deadlines.
• Self-starter with an ability to identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision skills required.
