Job Description

Position: Database Administrator Experience: At Least 6+ years of experience in Database Administration Roles: 1. To Install and maintain the performance of database servers. 2. Prepare and configure High Availability and Cluster mode for Database. 3. Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools 4. Develop processes and Queries for optimizing database security. 5. Set and maintain database standards with DB Hardening Process. 6. Monitoring drive space, database space, Log file space 7. Monitoring SQL server logs and windows logs 8. Manage database access, User Matrix , Privileges. 9. database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring 10. Maintenance, indexing , periodic tuning of database systems. 11. Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security 12. Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling 13. PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills. 14. Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) 15. Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. 16. Analyze, resolve issues in real time 17. Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors, deadlocks. 18. Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement 19. Create and manage database reports, Auditing, visualizations, and dashboards. 20. Database Mirroring configurations and Real time Disaster Recovery procedures on DR Site 21. Create automation and scripts for repeated tasks. 22. supporting 24*7 production support to the organization and on-call support whenever required Job Type: Full-time Salary: KD800.000 - KD980.000 per month
