Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Administration and maintenance of the business system databases in production and disaster recovery (DR) environments.
  • Fine tuning and performance enhancement of the business applications in coordination with the development team.
  • Responsible for the creation and upgrade of the database objects as per the business needs and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the backup and restoration of the databases and applications as per the company policy.
  • Protecting the databases against threats and unauthorized access
  • Providing the interface between inhouse and outsourced applications
  • Monitor performance and provide solutions.
  • Maintain documentation and quality procedures for the databases.
  • Willing to work outside office hours based on the operations requirement.
Candidate\xe2\x80\x99s Profile:
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in Databases (Oracle version 12c onwards and SQL Server version 12 onwards).
  • 3 years or more experience in database (Oracle & SQL Server) management and administration.
  • Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Understanding of application architecture in Oracle Forms (Weblogic) and Apex is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and logical skills.
Qualification Required:
  • Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP DBA)
  • Microsoft SQL Server DBA (MCSE)
