-Role would have the Dual responsibilities of Supporting ERP solutions as Data Base Administrator (DBA) and Oracle Technical Consultant. Support and provide complete DBA &Technical support for oracle end users and ensure smooth operations.
-The scope of work will cover all the support and maintenance responsibilities, as a DBA and Oracle Technical Consultant, for all tasks pertaining to the implemented oracle modules , customizations. The Consultant would also manage the OVM (Oracle Virtual Machine) infrastructure, Oracle Fusion OTBI, BIP Report, its customizations and deployment of the solution and other related areas will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes .
Database Administrator Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of Oracle databases within the Oracle, WebLogic, and Java environment.
Data modeling and database design
Maintains production and development test environments including database refresh, upgrade, and migration activities.
Implements all access control to the database, considering security, efficiency, integrity, ownership, and redundancy concerns.
May develop stored procedures and/or triggers.
Administers a variety of database systems ,such as Microsoft SQL Server, and other Database Management Systems (DBMS).
Develops and enforces database administration and user standards and procedures; audits, modifies, and amends data in systems using SQL commands.
Reviews technical designs, reports, documentation, and other materials produced by staff; creates and maintains high-level reporting systems using products such as Crystal Reports; researches and implements new database and online technology.
Backup & Recovery Management
Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to protect critical data and ensure high availability. Conduct regular database backups, perform recovery procedures, and test backup integrity to minimize data loss and downtime.
