Market Data, Alternative Data, Dataset Creation, Data projects, Dashboards, Python
SAMPLE RESONSIBILITES (Depending on background):
- Symbology Mapping. Standardize and map symbologies across datasets from various vendors.
- Interactive Data Exploration. Building interactive dashboard or data API to explore/analyze data and insights
- Unstructured Data Processing. Expertise in extracting, cleaning, and structuring data from a mess data, including PDFs, text documents, irregular JSON, websites.
- Proprietary Dataset Creation. Proficiency in building custom in-house datasets or refining alternative data
- Specialized Dataset Curation. Deep expertise in curating core financial datasets such as fundamentals, earning, reference data, market data, or macroeconomic.
- Automated Data Evaluation (not data monitoring). Automatic assessment of data value for investment purposes.
- Very strong Data experience
- Experience buy-side, sell-side (outside of risk, banking), data vendors or interesting side-projects
- Proactive approach, someone who takes total ownership of tasks
- Strong Python and SQL is required
