Data Privacy Technical Support Specialist

Job Purpose

To provide technical and operational support for data privacy management systems, supporting data protection and compliance systems through effective system administration, privacy operations, and governance (GRC) processes. The role contributes to organizational data privacy, information security, and compliance objectives by supporting enterprise systems and privacy-related operational activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical System Support

Provide technical support and system administration for data privacy and compliance systems to ensure stability, availability, and performance.

Manage user access, roles, permissions, and access management controls within enterprise systems.

Configure system settings, workflows, and workflow configuration to support privacy operations and business processes.

Support enterprise systems integration and coordinate with IT and information security teams.

Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and metrics supporting data protection and compliance monitoring.

2. Data Privacy Operations Support

Support data privacy and data protection activities, including data classification and data mapping processes.

Maintain records of processing activities in alignment with privacy operations and compliance requirements.

Support privacy impact assessment activities from a technical and system perspective.

Assist in managing and tracking data subject requests in accordance with approved procedures.

Support GRC and compliance systems implementation related to data privacy and information security.

3. Documentation and Operational Support

Develop and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and system user guides.

Document system configurations, operational workflows, and compliance-related processes.

Support internal stakeholders in the effective use of data privacy and compliance systems across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation or Implementer

ISO/IEC 27701 Foundation or Lead Implementer

Foundational Data Privacy or Data Protection certifications

IT Service Management certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation)

Information Security or GRC-related certifications (Foundational level)

Language Requirements

Native Arabic speaker (written and verbal), with very good command of English for team communication, documentation, and coordination.

Experience

Experience in technical support, system administration, or enterprise application support, with exposure to data privacy, compliance systems, or GRC environments.
