Data Migration Expert (Oracle EBS ? SAP)

Location: Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Expert to lead and support end-to-end migration activities from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to SAP S/4HANA as part of a large-scale ERP Transformation Program. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical skills, the critical expertise required is Oracle EBS (Technical) -- particularly in data extraction, validation, and integration from EBS to SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support all data migration activities from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to SAP S/4HANA.

Contribute to the data migration plan, methodology, and execution roadmap.

Define and manage migration scope (master, transactional, historical data) ensuring end-to-end traceability.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SAP Data Services (BODS) or equivalent tools.

Review and validate data mapping, transformation logic, and load templates prepared by the System Integrator (SI).

Ensure data quality, completeness, and compliance with enterprise governance and audit standards.

Collaborate with SAP, business, and technical teams to resolve migration issues and ensure smooth cutover readiness.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in data migration, preferably in Oracle-to-SAP environments.

Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS data models and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA data structures.

Hands-on experience with SAP BODS / Data Services or other ETL tools (CPI-DS, Informatica, Talend, etc.).

Proven experience in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
