Job Title: Data Governance Specialist (Arabic Speaker)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Data Governance Specialist with 4-6 years of experience in data governance or data management, ideally within government or environmental sectors. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Arabic, familiar with DAMA principles, and capable of supporting the implementation and enforcement of data governance practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support data classification, data quality, and metadata management initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure adherence to data governance frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with data standards and escalate data quality issues where necessary.
- Maintain documentation and data catalogs to support governance initiatives.
- Contribute to data governance awareness and training programs.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in data governance or data management.
- Experience in government or environmental sectors is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK or other data governance frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
