Key Responsibilities

• Support execution and continuous evolution of the enterprise Data Management Strategy.
• Design, implement, and enhance data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and ownership models.
• Establish and manage the Data Stewardship operating model with clear roles and accountability across business and IT.
• Facilitate data governance forums, working groups, and steering committees with data owners across lines of business.
• Collaborate with IT business partners and business teams to implement data quality management processes.
• Partner with data engineering and operations teams to embed data quality controls into data pipelines and platforms.
• Work with technical teams to ensure master data management solutions align with governance and business requirements.
• Coordinate with data privacy, protection, and information security teams to ensure regulatory and security compliance.
• Ensure architecture and solution decisions align with enterprise data governance standards.
• Maintain and operationalize data catalogues, business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata management practices.
• Oversee governance processes including data classification, change management, compliance checks, and reporting.
• Act as a governance advocate and change agent across the organization to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related IT data roles.
• Strong knowledge of data strategy, data governance and stewardship, data quality, MDM, metadata management, and data architecture.
• Experience working with data governance and cataloguing tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend, IBM Infosphere, Oval Edge, or similar.
• Experience with data quality platforms including SAP, Informatica, Ataccama, Syniti, or equivalent solutions.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across business and IT organizations.
