The role of the Data Engineer/ science at the forefront of shaping our data landscape, responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines and driving impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyse their data requirements, offering improved visibility from different sources.
• Manage integrations and ensure the seamless flow of data across the Technology landscape.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility, and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
• Writes unit/integration tests, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work.
• Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.
• Design data integrations and data quality framework.
• Design and evaluates open source and vendor tools for data lineage.
• Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of hand-on experience working with statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms with highly proficient in Python, R and SQL.
• Bachelors in Computer science, Information Technology, engineering or related field.
• A passion for problem solving, continuous learning and driving technical excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Expertise in Exploratory Data analysis and applying machine learning algorithms in real use cases.
• Hands-on experience in Azure tools and technologies like Azure machine learning, Azure data lake storage, Synapse analytics and Azure cognitive services.
