:

This role directs and oversee high-level strategic and tactical decisions for business intelligence and applications. Facilitated the overall direction of Enterprise Data Business, working with the appropriate leadership teams to develop the strategic direction and ensure stakeholder satisfaction with the deliverables of data initiatives. The Data Engineering Director will be responsible interface with different stakeholders within the organization to implement the enterprise data and master data management (MDM) rules to ensure data quality and integrity. You will be responsible for BI, Artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies roadmap, to develop specific objectives for the business strategies and develops budgets, resources and operations to support them. Your job scope will also include:

• Own the overall design and support of BI, Big data, AI and MDM architecture and technology environment, including data acquisition, management, warehousing and delivery solutions.
• Building and leading a team of developers and technology experts to deliver insights
• Leading end-to-end data and analytics projects
• Promote and facilitate the development of self-service capabilities for the business in the access and reporting of business information.
• Develop and implement data quality and governance standards, identify and assign business owners in each area as needed.
• Develop well-organized and insightful reports, dashboards and other forms of data visualizations to support business awareness and decision-making
• Proactively interface with business teams to gather and validate reporting and analysis requirements including data elements and report owners
• Design and maintain workflows to automate data ingestion, validation and report delivery mechanisms with performance standards
• Support the redesign of monthly, quarterly and annual business reporting
• Oversee report and dashboard rollout, user acceptance testing, user training and ongoing support to key stakeholders
• Fostering an enterprise culture and data driven mindset

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• 8+ years' experience of Data Analytics
• 5+ years' experience of Data Visualization
• 5+ years' experience of data modeling
• 3+ years' experience of Machine Learning
• 3+ years' experience of ETL development, MDM and data quality and data integration
• Ability to determine long term directions, industry trends and how they inter relate to the organizational needs
• Strong knowledge and expertise in Big Data tools (Databricks, Hadoop, Spark ,Azure Data lake, Hive, Pig, etc)
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Excellent understanding of analytical methods and regression models, and advanced analytics software (SAS, R, Python and others)
• Demonstrable, strong analysis skills are necessary
• An understanding of utilizing Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server\GitHub.
• Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin
• Strong presentation and communication skills

• PMP Certification or equivalent
• Microsoft Certified Application Development Foundation
• Talend Certification
• Microsoft Certified in Big Data Tools
• Tableau Certification
• 2+ years' Experience with relational databases and expertise leveraging large data sets within a data warehouse
• 2+ years' experience with relational databases and data warehousing technologies
• Experience in data management and governance, preferably setting up, leading or transforming a Data Management/ Governance initiatives in complex business environments
• Experience with Talend
• Experience with relational databases (SQL/PLSQL/Hive) and expertise leveraging large data sets within a data warehouse (Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Understanding of GDPR and data privacy
