Your responsibilities will include:
We are working with a leading sovereign wealth fund in Abu Dhabi who are looking for a professional to join one of their dynamic teams. As a data engineer you will be a key member of the equity data science team and in charge of providing solutions to the global equities division. What the job involves
Your responsibilities will include:
- Automating the sourcing, transformation, and loading of external and internal data into various third-party and internal investment solutions
- Creating and managing ETL and REST-oriented APIs for data integration jobs
- Ensuring high data quality, strong data governance, and contributing to the development, testing, deployment, and documentation of advanced analytics and data science applications
- Identify opportunities for greater use of technology in the investment process and automate existing processes, including the creation of new dashboards in Power BI and PowerApps
- A Bachelor\'s degree in technology, science, engineering, or finance
- In depth experience of data engineering for end-to-end data collection, transformation, and processing
- Proficiency in ETL tools, Python, SQL, XML, Power BI, scripting, and DevOps/Git
- Expertise in system development using OOP languages, e.g., Python, Java, C# / .Net
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, or similar
- Business intelligence design and implementation experience with leading technologies
