Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Data Architect (Senior / Expert Level)

to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise data architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive background in data standards, governance, lakehouse/warehouse design, and alignment with national regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Define and maintain

enterprise data architecture standards

, guidelines, and best practices for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Design

production-level data products

, preferably on

Microsoft Azure

. Develop and optimize

data warehouses and data lakehouse platforms

using Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift. Implement end-to-end

data integration

, ETL/ELT pipelines, real-time streaming, and CDC frameworks. Establish and maintain

data governance practices

, including: Data catalog Data lineage Data classification Data masking Metadata standards Ensure compliance with

national standards

such as: NORA NDMO DGA / SDAIA standards and policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and interoperability across the enterprise. Stay updated with

AI/ML advancements

and modern technology trends and apply them within the data architecture landscape. Support enterprise-wide architecture initiatives, reviews, and assessments in alignment with overall EA frameworks .

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

15+ years

of experience in Data Architecture, Data Governance, or Enterprise Architecture. Strong knowledge of

TOGAF

, SDAIA/NDMO policies, and national data regulations. Expert in

data modeling

(conceptual, logical, physical). Hands-on experience with: Azure Data Services Databricks / Snowflake / BigQuery / Redshift ETL/ELT tools API-based integrations Strong understanding of

data security

, encryption, RLS, access control, and data privacy best practices. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
