Overview of the role
The Data & Analytics Lead is responsible for developing and executing the data and AI enablement strategy for Al-Futtaim Financial Services (AFF), Hertz and international businesses, ensuring that all initiatives align with the overall digital transformation roadmap. The role will lead the design and delivery of the Fully AI enabled data and analytics platform, oversee analytics delivery and build internal AI capability to support automation, decision intelligence and customer insights. This is a hands-on leadership role bridging business, technology and AI innovation focused on creating a unified, governed and scalable data ecosystem that enables product-level profitability, portfolio insights and operational excellence
What you will do

• Lead the Data & AI Enablement agenda: define and execute AFF's data strategy aligned with the Group CDO and Digital Transformation plan.

• Build AI capability: develop internal data science and ML delivery capabilities for use cases like credit risk, pricing, fraud detection, and collections optimization

• Data governance & compliance: implement policies, metadata management, lineage, and quality frameworks aligned with Group data leads.

• Analytics & BI delivery: drive data analytics platform adoption, ensuring executive dashboards (profitability, equity, RoE) and self-service analytics for business teams.

• Collaborate with Group & Divisional teams: ensure synergy with AFS&TD, GTDP, EIB and initiatives to avoid duplication and ensure reuse.

• Vendor and partner management: manage data engineering vendors, AI partners, and Group shared services (infrastructure, security).
