- Design analytical applications, modern data platforms, data structures and related integration
- Lead data warehouse / lake analysis, design, and build efforts.
- Work with customers, users, technical architects to define required requirements.
- Advice clients in terms of software / platform selection
- Shape roadmaps in terms of data platform coverage, maturity in line with business requirements
- Ensure that designs fulfil requirements, including data volume, frequency needs, and long-term data growth.
- Demonstrate data platform experience when communicating with clients on their requirements, turning these into technical transformation solutions.
- Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and various teams internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of overall experience with at least 2 years leading architecture definition of modern analytical data platforms \xe2\x80\x93 data lakes, data warehouses, data lakehouse.
- Proven background of designing and implementing architectural solutions which solve strategic and tactical business needs.
- Deep knowledge of best practices through relevant experience across data-related disciplines and technologies, particularly for enterprise-wide data architectures, data management, data governance and data warehousing Highly competent with relational database design and structured query language (SQL)
- Experience with one or more Cloud platforms and modern data & analytics solutions \xe2\x80\x93 Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake etc.
- Ability to architect data solutions, applying concepts of data modelling, data validation, consolidation, data quality, data discovery and catalogue, data lineage.
- Experience in working in multinational environment and with complex landscapes.
- Self-motivation, proactiveness and openness to changes.
- Ability to make things happen and to keep deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected situations.
- Business oriented and results driven.
- Good analytical skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Related certifications would be a plus.
