Job Description

As a Data Analyst at CPT Markets, you will play a crucial role in

transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work

closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various

sources to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities in the financial markets. This

position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis within

the dynamic and fast-paced environment of the financial industry.



Key Responsibilities:



1. Collect, clean, and preprocess data from internal and external sources, ensuring

accuracy and reliability.

2. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in

financial market data.

3. Develop and maintain automated dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present

insights in a clear and concise manner.

4. Collaborate with traders, researchers, and developers to design and implement

quantitative trading strategies based on data-driven insights.

5. Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business initiatives, such as market research,

customer segmentation, and risk assessment.

6. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data

analysis and machine learning.



Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics,

Economics, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib. Basic programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and scripting. Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for hypothesis testing and

regression analysis.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present

technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented

environment.

Prior experience in the financial industry or trading environment is a plus but not

required.
