Data Analyst

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across sales, marketing, and operations. You will play a key role in optimizing our retail/e-commerce performance through advanced analytics, robust reporting, and data-driven forecasting.
Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insight Generation:
• Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and inventory trends to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Develop deep-dive analyses to uncover root causes of business challenges and successes.
• Reporting & Visualization:
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Enable real-time tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
• Business Partnership:
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and retail operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations and support strategic initiatives.
• Forecasting & Optimization:
• Develop demand forecasting models to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Analyze stock trends to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
• Data Integrity & Governance:
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data sources.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives for data collection and management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) is preferred.
• Experience:
• 5-7 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the retail or e-commerce sector.
• Technical Skills:
• Essential: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Essential: Strong expertise in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Advantageous: Programming experience in Python or R for statistical analysis and automation.
• Business Acumen:
• Demonstrated expertise in generating insights from sales, customer, and inventory data.
• Strong understanding of retail/e-commerce metrics and supply chain principles.
