Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Mainly responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of all farm infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment for livestock and farm workers. The role includes supervising maintenance staff, conducting repairs, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.

Responsible in overseeing the maintenance of barns, milking parlors, feeding areas, fences, and water supply systems.

Must ensure proper functioning of farm machinery, including tractors, feeders, and milking equipment.

Maintain schedule and conduct routine inspections and repairs of farm buildings and equipment.

Properly manage waste disposal; drainage systems, and manure handling to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

Must lead and coordinate farm maintenance workers, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently. Responsible in training farm staff on proper equipment handling, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment usage. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when necessary. Monitor and maintain proper ventilation, heating, and cooling systems for cattle welfare. Ensure water supply systems function properly to provide adequate hydration to livestock. Assist in implementing biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to farm maintenance and operations. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols for workers and livestock. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental and agricultural regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Should have technical degree or Previous maintenance experience.

- Must have knowledge of farm equipment repair, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.

- Should have ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physical labour.

- With good understanding of livestock care and farm sanitation best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
