Role Overview:

The Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that DeepSource Technologies adheres to regulatory standards and maintains robust cybersecurity practices. In this position, you will support the development and implementation of GRC frameworks, policies, and procedures, while also assessing risks and driving compliance initiatives across the organization. Your expertise will be essential in promoting a culture of security awareness and accountability, ensuring that DeepSource Technologies meets all cybersecurity obligations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and maintenance of the GRC framework, including policies, standards, and procedures that align with industry regulations and best practices. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and compliance gaps within the organization. Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and ensure timely completion of corrective actions. Monitor compliance with cybersecurity regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and internal policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance processes into daily operations and enhance the organization's security posture. Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders on compliance status, risk exposure, and improvement recommendations. Conduct training and awareness programs to promote a culture of security and compliance throughout the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity GRC roles or related fields. Strong understanding of GRC frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent preferred. Experience with GRC tools and technologies is a plus.
