Cybersecurity Experts (4 Positions) Kuwait

Location: Kuwait Company: ITHR Tech Start Date: Within 3 months of offer Contract Type: Project-based (On-demand, up to 3 years) Work Mode: Onsite Reference: RFP-based Government Engagement Overview:

ITHR Tech is seeking four (4) experienced and certified Cybersecurity Experts to support our esteemed client in Kuwait. The professionals will be deployed to perform advanced cybersecurity operations in a banking/financial sector environment. Key Responsibilities:

Monitor cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources and apply appropriate measures across CLIENT systems.

Develop and distribute internal cyber alerts.

Analyze emails and network traffic for malicious activity and propose remediation strategies.

Conduct security configuration reviews of firewalls, IPS, routers, and network security devices.

Monitor SIEM systems for anomalies and initiate remediation processes.

Participate in the design/implementation of Cyber Threat Intelligence platforms.

Perform security assessments across systems, networks, and applications.

Review changes to ensure alignment with CLIENT security policies and standards.

Handle incident response and contribute to daily security operations.

Conduct research on new cyber threats and recommend actionable improvements.

Assess applications as part of the Change Management process.

Provide cybersecurity input from project initiation to retirement.

Manage access controls as per policy.

Implement and maintain international standards like ISO27001, BS22301.

Provide knowledge transfer and training to Kuwaiti nationals. Education & Certifications:

Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, ECE, MIS, or a related field.

Mandatory certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCIE Security (or equivalent).

Product-specific certifications in firewalls, IPS, system administration, antivirus, etc. i Skills & Tools:

In-depth knowledge of routing/switching, endpoint security, firewalls, mail/web security.

Hands-on with:

SIEM, IPS, EDR, AV, ATP, DLP, VPN, Sandbox, VMS, Filtering Solutions

Strong experience in:

Vulnerability assessment, application security, security operations, and compliance.

Designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions in banking environments.

Able to handle unplanned tasks and contribute to project teams from an InfoSec perspective.

Excellent command of emerging tech and cyber trends. Experience Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of total IT experience.

Minimum 10-12 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, preferably in banking/financial sectors. Language:

English: Fluent (reading, writing, speaking)

Arabic: Preferred Personal Traits:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong documentation and presentation capabilities.

Effective communicator and team player.
