Monitoring billet cutting operation as per preset billet length in automatic semi-automatic and assist pulpit to cut billet in manual mode from control desk.
Maintain proper pressure and flame of auto cutting torches.
Changing cleaning Cutting Nozzle and torch as and when require.
Cutting billet manually when auto cutter fails.
Cutting samples crop end pieces and salvaging non-standard billets.
Removal of short billet pieces in CCM area and transporting scrap yard.
TCM & Manual Gas cutters servicing/Maintenance.
Skull cutting in apron chamber in case of breakout.
All welding jobs in CCM area.
Housekeeping inside / outside discharge pulpit and surrounding areas.
To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
To attend safety trainings planned for them.
Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
