Customs Co-worker - Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Position Overview
Emirates Logistics LLC is hiring a Customs Co-worker in Dubai, UAE to handle customs documentation, data entry, and trade compliance for import and export operations. This role requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of Dubai Trade systems to ensure smooth processing of shipments and timely clearance.

Core Duties

• Process DP World payments on the same day of BOE or ED date
• Download and merge inbound and outbound documents within required timelines
• File non-remittance claims within two days of receiving final SWB
• Create and maintain outbound shipment folders after ED processing
• Verify and update customs clearance status for inbound shipments
• Process and validate inbound and outbound BOE documentation
• Update invoice and EDI data in EL master files and save in common folders
• Create and forward shipments based on ATD schedules, escalating issues when necessary
• Follow up on escalated documentation to ensure prompt resolution
• Check BL documents for consumables shipments and ensure timely updates
• Maintain BOE records and update master files consistently
• Update arrival reports, ITM, and consumables trackers accurately
• Support inbound operations by verifying and processing documents within two days of arrival

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree with knowledge of Dubai Trade
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with fast and accurate data entry skills
• Good command of English in both written and spoken communication
• Previous logistics or customs processing experience is preferred
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working under deadlines
