This Customer Services Manager (CSM) job is part of talent development and progression for UAE Nationals within Gas Power business of GE. The CSM will primarily work ADNOC Power Plant in Ruwais but besides this will also support Umm ul Naar and Al Taweelah power plants. There will be a training program for CSM certification to help equip with right knowledge, tools and resources. The CSM position will be based in Abu Dhabi and the incumbent will be required to travel to the sites based on the requirements. The scope Includes all types of maintenance service with safety, quality, on time delivery, and within budget. There is moderate autonomy within the role. Operational judgment and good analytical skills are required to achieve outcomes required.

  • Establish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to the sites\xe2\x80\xa6. i.e. ADNOC Ruwais Power Plant, Umm ul Naar and Al Taweelah Power plant.
  • Planning and execution of outages/overhauls/inspections (Events) of Power Generation and allied equipment.
  • Event parts/repairs planning to execute with Safety, Quality, on time Delivery and within Budget
  • Parts, repairs and resources demand placement, verification & forecasting
  • Conducting pre outage risk reviews and outage readiness reviews
  • Coordinating with engineers for tech issues resolution and delivering Conversions, Modifications or Upgrade scopes. Coordination of activities in case of technical issues during outage/ project execution and operation
  • Focal point for customer including concluding Customer Successful Outage Meeting Agenda/Template
  • Post outage reviews with customer and GE internal functions
  • Managing Non-Conformity Reporting (NCRs)
  • Reviewing job cost estimates during commercial phase of any proposal submission to the assigned customers
  • On time billing and cash collection
  • Financial pacing / cost classification
  • Inventory management at site to maintain reliability of sites
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services to improve on customer experience
Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Engineering degree from an accredited college or university,
  • Significant experience on as site/project/planning engineer,
  • Strong oral and written communication skills both in English and Arabic.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in planning and project managing,
  • Experience on rotating equipment, controls is a plus,
  • Strong leadership, financial and commercial skills,
  • Team leader in a dynamic, energetic and proactive environment,
  • Experience working with organizational leadership teams,
  • Demonstrated communication & organizational skills,
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
