Job Description
Customer Service Representative responsibilities center around facilitating the Tube Supply sales process. In this associate-level role, you will enter sales orders received from our Account Managers into our database. CSRs are the first point of contact for troubleshooting with customers and will coordinate with outside processing vendors to treat material to each customer's specifications.
Primary Duties:
Order entry: create sales orders in accordance with specifications used by Tube Supply and/or customers, which may also include the creation of special process purchase orders Create purchase orders for the sales department for external material (buyouts) Add and review freight and rush charges to purchase orders correct discrepancies between sales orders, purchase orders and final products Help facilitate credit card payments for COD orders for Account Managers Track and troubleshoot orders Comprehend & match Mill Test Reports according to the order and/or specifications supplied by Sales Perform maintenance on assigned accounts Contact vendors and review order status Handle international shipments documentation Source miscellaneous items for other departments as required Comply with all HSE, QMS, and Company policies Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor Share the responsibilities of training new Jr. CSRs with the Customer Service Manager
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Assistant role or similar Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient at data-entry Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience Excellent problem-solving skills
