Job Description

Objective:
  • Deliver the highest levels of quality, be customer-oriented and create value for customers as well as for Hapag-Lloyd
Responsibilities:
  • OBL issuance and acceptance
  • Container releases: Print delivery orders as well as make amendments, when and if needed, and update it in the custom system immediately
  • Check & verify that documents presented at counter are correct and as per agents manual, thereby ensuring quick and smooth delivery of documents to customers
  • Local document stamping: Ensure mandatory requirements have been fulfilled prior to release of Original Bills of Ladings or Delivery Orders to customers
  • Payment postings: Work on cash outstanding on daily basis to reconcile accounts and identify missed collection cases
  • Maintaining Blank BL form stationary record as per the process for OBL printing facility at customer premises
  • Process BL amendments in urgent cases
  • Be proactive in responding to daily emails
Requirements:
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Able to work well with others and follow guidelines
  • Positive attitude
  • Receptive and be able to grasp new ideas and motivate one’s self for personal development
