Job Description

:

What will you do?


Act as the leader of complex technical integrated solutions and be the single point of contact regarding all project technical topics.
Make sure our solution answer to customer requirements in compliance with the contract
Lead a technical team composed of "customer project technical engineers" (i.e. DPT5-DPT6), and ensure technical coordination of all project's stakeholders
Coordinate all technical solutions of customer complex integrated projects
Master technical risks of the overall technical solution designed and delivered

Technical team coordination & management:

Be accountable of the technical solution, in line with customer requirements and project strategy; Make sure the project technical team is aligned with the project strategy; Be accountable of the overall technical budget and planning of the project; Facilitate & prioritize all technical activities with factories or suppliers. Oversee all technical implementation activities done at factories or supplier premises and testing facilities until project closure.

Technical coordination of project stakeholders:

Work in close collaboration with Managers of Project Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of the sub-contracted parts of the project, in strong coordination with procurement team; Act as a single point of contact for all project stakeholders (including customer) regarding the technical strategy and major technical decisions of the project; Ensure good communication to the project team regarding technical decisions and strategy of the project

Risk & Opportunity management, Change management, Alert:

Master the technical risks & opportunities of the project;
Conduct change management with the Project Director
Work closely with Project Director to present and negotiate major changes implications for Schneider Electric until getting a variation order; Alert Project Director and Management of any issue that could affect the project performance or customer satisfaction.

Customer interactions:

Lead technical strategy in line with customer; Take the proper technical decision to ensure project interest and customer satisfaction; Act as the key and trusty contact person for all technical topics related to the project.

Quality process, Methods, Tools:

Drive standardization of technical solutions and processes across the accounts under his/her responsibility to ensure consistent support for customers in all regions. Support Exe TL & PM to ensure full compliance with Schneider-Electric processes (especially CPP & TDP), and with quality instructions, safety requirements and governance principles; Lead the technical team to correct any technical deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution.

Community of practices & Coaching:

Take part of Technical Leaders' Community of Practice within her/his Execution Centre, or globally within Technical Excellence Community network Act as role model and/or coach technical principal engineers Be connected with LoBs and Schneider Electric Management to ensure good communication & knowledge of project technical challenges and decisions.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

Proven ability to lead with agility functional and remote technical team having different fields of expertise Able to communicate in concise and synthetic manner complex technical issues/topics Able to take decisions in complex context based on imperfect/missing conditions Technical experience in MV, LV, UPSs, Tx, Busbar, EPMS, Cooling Equipment and BMS (Ideally all fields).

Education:



University Msc/Bsc Electrical Engineering Degree

Language requirements:


Fluent in English
French language will be valuable

Experience:


10 years leading complex technical projects or as Solution Application Engineer for large and international Customer projects
+15 years in Electrical Distribution field with deep knowledge on Prefabricated Power Stations
