Job Description

The Operations Agent has the ownership of the operational execution across Ocean and Logistics and is responsible for file creation, coordination and closure of shipment files
o Creation and execution of customer shipments according to the implementation plan and customer requirements with regards to QHSE and reporting
o Understanding of external factors impacting Customer's supply Chain & understand their sense of urgency, service needs, drivers and desires.
o Ability to align with customer expectations upfront & to be able to respond with suggested solutions
o Be the primary point of contact for own customers and ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle, including the inland delivery, by working closely with the customer as well as internal stakeholders.
o Proactively track shipments and notify customers of relevant deviations from the transport plan, including potential solutions or alternatives.
o Onboard customers and build strong and collaborative relationships, with willingness to go the extra mile towards the customers & with focus on providing solutions.
o Liaising and preparing transport plan with suppliers




Accountable for :
o Day to day customer Relationship
o Daily operational execution
o Daily EDI updates
o SO/PO & file creation in operationel systems
o Value to Maersk (efficiency, automation and standardisation)
o Protecting CSI for third party (non-Maersk) suppliers and partners.
o Ensure execution and reporting as per compliance requirements
