About the role


Work Location: Sohar
Reporting to: Customer Care Manager

Key responsibilities


  • Preparing Proforma Invoices & sending it to respective Sales Team member / Customer promptly upon receipt of customer enquiry or pre-order request
  • Follow up with Sales Team / Customer for PI Confirmation (by way of telephones and emails) and ensure confirmation of this contract.
  • Upon receipt of PI Confirmation, Converting the same into Sales Order in system for Execution by production.
  • To Interact with Production Schedulers for ETA request and sending PI to Clients for confirmation
  • To Liaise with Sales and MDG Team for Creation of New Customer Code in the system.
  • Liaise with Finance team for credit block on a daily basis.
  • Creation of New FG Product code. This will also require to liaise with R&D Produce batch sheets and associated documentation and labels.
  • Liaise with the Material Planning / Supply Planning team with regards to raw material shortages
  • Ensure service issues do not arise by clarifying customer requests with regards to order confirmations, raw material shortages and delivery dates and managing expectations \xe2\x80\x93 determine cause of any issues, seeking solutions and escalating appropriately.
  • Liaise with Logistics team for generating Invoices / Export documentation.
  • Maintain professional, timely, and effective communication with all parties.

Qualifications and skills


  • At least 2 to 3 years of customer service / administration experience in a manufacturing environment, education packground with related field.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously with limited guidance.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • ERP Systems \xe2\x80\x93 SAP experience is essential.
