Job Summary Raytheon\xe2\x80\x99s Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) team is looking for a Customer Account Manager to grow our business in the United Aram Emirates (UAE) as well as pipeline development, external customer engagement and serving as the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders. You will be a member of the country team reporting to the Raytheon Emirates, LTD (REL) Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) Director. In this role you will assist the Country R&C Director by ensuring compliance with all internal operational policies, procedures, and practices within the organization. You will also coordinate the planning and management of customer correspondence, capture / proposal gate reviews, leadership visits, trade shows, external consultants, and internal team reviews. As the Customer Account Manager, you will develop associated financial tools and track relevant metrics, to include 5-Year Plan assessments, New Business Investment (NBI) requirements and Enterprise Raytheon Pipeline Manager (ERPM) opportunities; as well as be accountable for the day-to-day cadence of tasks, processes, and implementation of enabling infrastructure necessary to operate the function effectively and efficiently. You will be the \xe2\x80\x9cright hand person\xe2\x80\x9d of the Emirates Business Development Director to ensure all activities of the team are run well so the rest of the team can focus on deepening customer intimacy, developing and executing winning capture strategies and proposals, and developing a robust pipeline. The position is located in the United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities to Anticipate
  • Collaborate with Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) product line and functional leaders across the Raytheon enterprise to develop in-country strategies, plans, and risk mitigation activities that align customer needs and local market understanding with the opportunities for Raytheon\xe2\x80\x99s relevant products and services in country.
  • Own and operate the assigned pipeline.
  • Prepare artifacts in support of Gate reviews (Gates 1 thru 4).
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers as well as key partners and suppliers, both locally and internationally as necessitated by the needs of the opportunity / pursuit.
  • Maintain clear communication lines with all stakeholders including provision of routine updates/status at business development meetings / collaborations.
  • Responsible as the primary point of contact for customer engagement and shaping efforts.
  • Develop and maintain customer contact and engagement plans to establish a one enterprise approach to managing the customer relationship.
Basic Qualifications
  • Typically requires a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in engineering, project management, or management discipline, or other relevant discipline and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years \xe2\x80\x98experience.
  • Experience in new business creation / business captures in UAE environment.
  • Experience in developing pipeline generation, integrated solutions, and cross-selling strategies.
  • Ability to leverage customer knowledge to identify potential growth opportunities in UAE.
  • Demonstrated relationships and a solid network with Saudi customers and partners.
  • Understanding of UAE customer culture, political and military environment and cultural customs and norms of the region.
  • Understanding of the procurement, fiscal and regulatory environment within UAE.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise solutions portfolio, technologies, and services.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and basic English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, project management, or management discipline.
  • Experience with prior military or defense market.
  • Experience with financial planning and analyses (FP&A) processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of products and services.
  • Prior involvement with UAE MoD programs, captures, and product lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate directly and effectively with key decision makers.
  • Understanding of customer culture, political and military environment and cultural customs and norms of the region.
  • Understanding of the procurement, fiscal and regulatory environment within the country.
    Experienced in the Microsoft Office suite, to an intermediate level (or above).
