Job Description
Position Summary
Customs Clearance Officer to manage shipment reconciliations, liaise with freight forwarders, and ensure compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE customs laws, import/export regulations, and international trade policies.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee customs clearance procedures, ensuring smooth and timely import/export processes. Reconcile shipment records, verifying invoices, customs declarations, and logistics documents. Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and regulatory authorities to resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade policies. Maintain accurate records of customs documentation and shipment status reports. Identify and resolve any customs-related delays or issues. Provide recommendations to improve logistics and customs processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree level in Business Administration or related. 2-3 years in customs clearance, reconciliation, or logistics, preferably in the
retail industry.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE customs laws, import/export regulations, and trade compliance. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
