About the responsibilities

Responsible for the CS&L activities for the relevant market.
Manage the CS&L team in the market by ensuring that they are delivering their objectives, managing their development, identifying talent for future progression and succession
Form strong relationships and work with the Market GM and LOC Leadership Teams to align supply chain to the business needs and commercial ambitions.
Represent the supply chain in Leadership forums providing senior stakeholders with clear guidance and challenge on current performance levels, identifying opportunities and risks.
(*): Main CS&L Activities:
Own KPIs and deliver optimized customer service (OTIF), product availability, budget management and cost-to-serve (CtS) by initiating and running projects/programs aligned with the Regional CSC and Global Pharma
Supply Chain strategies
Actively support delivery of other End to End SC & Business KPIs, such as Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, SLOB/ write offs
Active participation, providing inputs & constructive challenges to drive aligned actions and high quality performance in/ out of CCC / IBP (E2E Demand - Supply planning) cycle
Timely and clear communication with Key Stakeholders in the market and regional teams in case of stock unavailability issues and overstocks / write off risks, based on root causing and alternative scenario planning, and drive effective mitigation planning and alternative actions
Manage distribution network, transportation, storage and labelling/repacking activities for the market through distributor.
Manage inbound & import process through Regional Import Control Tower in a compliant manner into the Markets, taking into account strict local legal rules and regulations
Lead the team for effective management outbound Customer Service and order management to first trade customer including order placement, invoicing, and customer complaints processes
Ensure product quality is maintained across the distribution network (PIRC, LIC, returns, missing, out-of-spec, or damaged inbound stock and support through investigations with LSP/LOC/SCP), in strong collaboration with
Quality team
Manage local processes and liaise with LSPs, GSK Regulatory team to manage logistics activities for Pack Changes, Discontinuations, first-time new product importation, free samples, clinical trial deliveries, Tender samples etc
Take ownership for Logistics Service Providers selection via bid process and contractual decisions (rates/service agreement)
Manage, develop and improve both strategic and operational relationships with external Logistics Service Providers and First Trade Customers
Report and manage risks with proper action and Business Continuity Plans within CS&L and as part of the Market LOC
Ensure quality, safety and compliance within all CS&L activities in line with GSK policies (QA, QMS and EHS standards, ABAC, SEC) regional legislation and industry best practice.
Ensure GSK Ethical code is strictly applied across the organization
About you
=============
University graduate or higher (Industrial Engineering / Engineering / Business Administration / Economics / Logistics / Mathematics)
10 years of diversified Supply Chain experience (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, CS&L etc)
Strong understanding of commercial, financial, operational drivers, objectives and challenges
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to interact, influence, and manage multiple and varied business contacts, both internal and external, often with different requirements and goals.
Strong leadership skills
