We are looking for an experienced
Crewing Manager
to oversee the recruitment, training, and certification of seafarers. The role requires excellent organizational and people management skills, with a strong understanding of international crewing regulations and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities
Manage recruitment, selection, and deployment of qualified seafarers. Ensure all crew certifications, visas, and documents are valid and up to date. Coordinate crew training programs to maintain compliance with industry standards. Monitor crew performance, welfare, and retention strategies. Liaise with manning agencies, training centers, and regulatory authorities. Maintain crew records and databases in compliance with company and legal requirements. Plan and manage crew changes efficiently to minimize operational disruption. Ensure compliance with MLC (Maritime Labour Convention) and flag state requirements.
Requirements
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in
crewing management within the shipping industry
. Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC, and international crewing regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proven ability to manage multi-national crew teams. Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, or equivalent.Job Type: Full-time
