Position: Crewing Coordinator - Arabic Speaker

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in planning and appointing personnel to assigned vessels in accordance with company procedures, agreed terms and conditions of employment, and required experience/training/qualification matrices. Support the Senior Crewing Coordinator in monitoring seafarer recruitment processes conducted by the Company and its Manning Agencies. Provide proactive advice and assistance to colleagues to foster strong professional working relationships. Report any identified problems or difficulties to the Senior Crewing Coordinator promptly. Plan, implement, and manage crew changes, ensuring all arrangements comply with company procedures, international standards, and budget constraints. Assist in implementing and following up on Seafarers' Performance Appraisals, maintaining close coordination with the relevant reporting officers. Ensure accurate input and maintenance of appraisal reports in the company's crewing software. Support the Senior Crewing Coordinator in ensuring vessel manning levels comply with international and Flag State regulations. Accurately maintain and update seafarer data in the company's software system. Assist in preparing crew budgets and monitor adherence through effective cost control measures. Assist in monitoring crew-related P&I claims and coordinate with relevant departments as necessary. Support the verification and processing of invoices received from suppliers related to crewing operations.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in shipping or marine management companies preferred. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Awareness and understanding of cultural and diversity considerations. Excellent organizational and planning abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications. Flexible, adaptable, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
