Job Overview Management of the day-to-day Crewing activities of the Airline to ensure all flights are crewed in a safe legal and cost effective away. To ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with BCAA and Company regulations. To deliver the objectives set by Flight Operations Management in a challenging environment. To effectively manage resources whilst ensuring company requirements and regulatory policies are strictly adhered to. To achieve highest level of productivity and optimal resource utilization without compromising on safety or quality Main Responsibilities To ensure effective processes and procedures are in place for the day-to-day management of the AOC's crew to meet the flying demands of the DHL Aviation Network. To ensure that all regulations are followed to ensure safe legal and cost-effective operations To manage the standby requirements of the AOC to mitigate against Network disruption To support the development of the crew roster to meet the requirements of the flying programme To develop best practice Fatigue Risk Management strategies and understanding. To develop roster robustness procedures and Safety Performance Indicators for use by the Flight Safety Action Group. Close liaison with Network Control and Planning teams To ensure all flights are covered in a timely manner. To develop KPI's for roster robustness To ensure standby planning is sufficient to meet the demands of the network. To develop Fatigue Risk Management procedures To ensure the days off payment scheme is utilised based on fairness, FRM and cost-effective use. To develop and manage Safety Performance Indicators and targets e.g., Discretions reporting, max night duty, roster stability, fatigue reporting, rest reduction and other. Independently resolving operational/process problems. Effective decision making on behalf of the AOC to deliver a high-quality service to DHL To ensure crewmembers are rostered in accordance with BCAA FTL and Company limitations To manage and be accountable for the day to day needs of the crew roster Close liaison with all Airline and DHL NOC Departments to ensure a high performance of delivery of crew resource. Through effective oversight, ensure Crew resource is balanced through efficient assignment. Continuous improvement of documented departmental procedures. To represent the Flight Ops Department and be accountable at all meetings appropriate to day-to-day crew activities Departmental procedures are followed to ensure business objectives of the business are met Close liaison Duty Manager, Crew Planning Supervisor, Training Planning, Flight Ops Manager along with SMT To review Fatigue reports within the Safety Management System to assist with the establishment of closure actions as appropriate and amendment of rostering practices as required. To perform additional duties as directed by the Flight Ops Manager To support the efficient planning and rostering of company flight crews in accordance with company policy.

Education & Experience Qualifications 10 years In depth knowledge of Airline Crewing, Fatigue Risk Management and Crew Scheduling. Must have previously held a position within an Airline Crewing or operations structure, and be familiar with all applicable aviation regulations. A graduate (preferably Transport / Logistics / Management) or equivalent industry experience Superb interpersonal communication skills with excellent verbal and written command of the English language with all levels of the business. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all customers and stakeholders. Leadership and commercial accountability. Pragmatic problem solver. Insanely Customer centric with a can-do attitude. High level of BCAA / FTL regulatory knowledge. High level of FRM regulatory knowledge and best practice Planning and organizational skills. People management. Confident decision maker, who balances the needs of the roster to deliver business objectives. High level knowledgeable in the use of AIMS Crew Scheduling system.
