Our client is a well-established international distributor, having operations across multiple locations with a strong focus in the MEA region. We are actively looking for a Credit Manager to join its Dubai office, which is one of the main offices of the group. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the credit activity at a group level and you will directly report to a C-Suite member. You will manage a remote team and have strong business partnering with sales teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Create credit scoring models to predict risks, implement and follow-up on procedures aimed at controlling customer risks
Implement guarantees, LC/SBLC, cessions of book debts and personal sureties to secure the company\'s receivables
Manage credit lines granted to customers
Manage 3 credit insurance policies
Develop, review and update the company\'s credit policies
Define the collection policy & implement the collection procedures within the group
Collect receivables (including the ones with litigations)
Determine the provisions for customer depreciation (bad debts)
Organize monthly communication to the Executive Committee (Credit, Customer Risk, Collections)

The Successful Applicant
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Management / Collections
An experience or exposure with African markets is mandatory
Good knowledge of Credit Insurance and Incoterms are absolutely required
Experience within an international environment with multiple nationalities/cultures
French language would be a strong asset
Relocators are accepted
