About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in eyewear designing and distribution. With over 100,000 employees, they have a presence in over 100 countries.
Ensuring that the company credit policy is adhered to including monitoring the application of appropriate credit limits and the risk profile of customers
Investigate and resolve credit risks and problem accounts, reviewing and managing issues and significant transactions
Build effective business relationships with internal and external customers to maximize cash
Monitor country portfolio for trends and report market /risk warnings accordingly
Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly credit reporting to monitor performance and identify issues
Collection whilst minimizing risks
Prepare the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts for credit management
Develop and maintain the periodic credit control dashboard, reports on aged debt, overdue debt, DSO, cash flow, credits processed and provision for losses
Produce accurate and timely management accounts, identifying and correcting mis posts, variance analysis and insightful commentary
Reconcile customer accounts sending monthly statement to the customers
DSO/Overdue and cash flow forecast monthly/quarterly/yearly
Calculate and monitor Bad Debt fund
Organize Monthly Credit Call with Corporate and Commercial Team in order to discuss credit KPIs and analysis possible action to improve them
Handling end to end process of Letter of Credit (LC), Cash Against Document (CAD)
Handling SBLC. Monitor and advice SBLC amendments time to time
Coordinate with Cash Banking team for payment allocation and posting
Credit Limit Annual Review
Credit Hold Management - Blocked orders
The Successful Applicant
Qualification & Skills Required:
5+ years of experience in Credit Management
Bachelors degree in business or similar
Customers negotiations skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Fluency in English essential (Arabic preferred)
Technical Competencies:
Working knowledge in ERP applications (Oracle & SAP)
Extensive knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel & Power point)
