Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Analyst to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your expertise in credit risk management within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Review counter-parties considering key financial and other metrics
Assign internal credit ratings following industry standard approaches
Ensure appropriate approvals are sought for ratings and open credit limits assigned
Support counter-party on-boarding including sourcing necessary materials for initial and recurring assessments
Monitor trading credit exposure on both realised and unrealised basis
Provide guidance where credit support/collateral is required to enable a trade or contract
Design and provide reporting setting out authorised counter-parties, credit headroom available, and position against limits
Develop approaches for measuring potential future exposure including exposure walk forwards and potential impact of market price change

What you bring:

Minimum 5 years experience in a credit risk function within an oil and gas organisation
Strong knowledge of counter-party risk management and credit assessment methodologies
Experience in managing credit exposure and monitoring risk on an ongoing basis
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving early-stage organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
