Job Purpose The position is responsible for conceptualising, designing and overseeing the creation as well as the maintenance of floral displays for Raffles & Fairmont Doha and its patrons while making a lasting impression on guests and generating a profit centre at the flower shop.

Primary Responsibilities
DESIGNS, CREATES AND OVERSEES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF FLORAL DISPLAYS
· Constantly seeks to source new ideas and develops new creations creatively by selecting and recommending suitable floral with the combination of different materials. · Creates and maintains a warm and welcoming environment/shopfront with target for Floral Boutique by Raffles to drive guest traffic as well as blend in within the grandeur of the interior design of Raffles Singapore. · Designs and creates event flowers for corporate events, Food and Beverage venues and public areas where needed.
PROVIDES AN ARRANGEMENT EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS GUESTS' EXPECTATIONS
· Ensures guests receive the Raffles Singapore experiences and aims to achieve the financial and guest satisfaction targets set by management. · Plans floral arrangements according to guests' requirements, utilising knowledge of design and properties of materials to create suitable designs. · Maintains a high level of professionalism while interacting with guests and ensures all requests, enquiries and requirements are met. · Oversees the final product when it comes to floral arrangements being delivered to suites and other public areas of the hotel. · Implements a quarterly and yearly calendar of floral and decorative displays based on major observance days of the year as well as hotel management guidance.
SUPERVISION OF THE FLORAL BOUTIQUE BY RAFFLES
· Leads the Floral Boutique by Raffles Team with a Heartist® approach and constantly seeks to create an all-encompassing and welcoming working environment for a multi-cultural and diverse group of colleagues. He/she will focus on the well-being, safety, training and development needs of colleagues. · Supervises and maintains the impeccable and professional appearance of the Floral Boutique by Raffles team as well as work areas at all time. · Performs Quality Control on all received items and ensure delivered products are as per the standards of Raffles Singapore.
INVOLVEMENT AS A MEMBER OF THE HOTEL TEAM
· Ensures service standards and individual performances are aligned with Accor Values - Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation and Respect. · Follows sustainable procedures and practices that support 'Planet 21' initiatives (Accor's Corporate Social Responsibility program). · Adheres to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures and ensures all direct reports are trained in, and follows WSH guidelines. · Recommends revenue generating initiatives and implement upsell strategies with aim to create a profitable flower shop. · Keeps up to date with the events in the Hotel and ensure proper communication and documentation to the Floral Boutique by Raffles team. · Conducts classes, demonstrates or trains the Housekeeping Team on basic flower knowledge and arrangements.

Profile
Knowledge and Experience
. Certificate or diploma with professional qualification in floral arrangement and decoration. . Minimum 5 years' experience in floral arrangement in a luxury floral environment with 3 years at a managerial level.
Competencies
· Oral and written fluency in English. Ability to converse in other languages is an advantage. · Technical skills about decorations and flowers. · Artistic flair. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) · Business acumen and entrepreneurial drive. · Supervisory and leadership skills - collaborative and enabling. · Confident and good interpersonal skills to handles all levels of communication to colleagues, residents and guests. · Able to solve problems/make decisions within scope. · Attention to details is a must. · Able to work independently, reliable and self-directed. · Sense of urgency.
