Job Objective


Provide efficient mechanical maintenance service for heavy equipments .Duties will focus mainly on the repair and maintenance of Logistic & Port equipments (Mechanical & Electrical trouble shooting of cranes such as Grove , Liebherr, Demag, Sany , Tadano,etc.)

Purpose: oTo communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance & repair data External Communication: oOther Business Unit () and Customers - As applicable oDealers & Supplier - As applicable oWorkshops & Garages - As applicable


Purpose:


oTo communicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance & repair data Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Accountability: oAre accountable for their acts and omissions. Responsibility:


To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses. Authority:

To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.

Roles and Responsibilities: o


Carry out both routine and planned maintenance and repair activities on crane and associated components parts Comprising of but not limited to hydraulic system, pneumatic system, winches, sheaves, ropes etc.


Performs major and minor repairs, inspections on crane and associated components parts comprising of but not Limited to hydraulic system, pneumatic system, winches, sheaves, ropes etc.

Carry out repairs on crane components and general workshop duties.

Work independently verification inspectorate in carrying out periodic inspections and load testing.

Carry out and document all necessary planned maintenance routine and periodic maintenance tasks including Spare usage.

Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to determine the root causes of problems.

o Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment manuals in the troubleshooting process. oMaintain proper records of consumables usage and disposal to update Equipment Controllers oCommunicate and exchange information on equipment maintenance & repair data with relevant personnel


Complete related paperwork required to complete job (work order, parts order, etc) accurately and timely.

Ensure full compliance with the safety goals, objectives, and procedures towards achieving zero LTI.

oPerform housekeeping duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager or Safety advisors in accordance with Company policies & procedures; oAvailable during off-hours for rescheduling, technical assistance, and emergency response


Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Foreman and above.

Qualifications -


Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical / Equivalent

Engineering Preferred

Professional Experience:


Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the related position

Must have good knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings, repair procedures.

GCC experiences preferred


Valid Qatar driving license is advantage

Computer and Language


Skills:


Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping and reporting as well as ERP systems Market / Industry / Functional Knowledge:

Ability to read & interpret documents, blueprints, operating & maintenance manuals

. oKnowledge of cranes such as Crawler, Hydraulic Truck and all Terrain Crane.


Related Professional Training, Certification, or Membership Mandatory:


oMust have Knowledge and experience and troubleshooting of the following crane Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano Preferred: oExperience in LSI, PAT, Hirschman, Wylie, Load wise indicator Lincoln of Liebherr System would be advantage.
