Being Area Manager of Canada means to be the main actor and point of reference of the company in the area, attract Canadian creators and companies to use the platform, and support them in their journey with AliveShoes.
This role will evolve from a first step where you will be the main point of operations for customer service, B2C sales&marketing, B2B sales&mrketing to a second step where you will be building a team to support your operations.
You will be managing customer service coming from all Canadian customers.
You will be working on the B2B Sales and business development in order to connect with corporates, start-ups, fashion companies, fashion designers, event organizers, clubs, non-profits, universities, organizations (and more..) that are in search for great custom products.
On the B2C side you will connect with and attract fashion minded consumers, emerging or want-to-be fashion designers, influencers through socia media and local events.
You'll manage the ADV budget in the area and work with agencies to run online marketing campaigns.
You will also be in charge of finding new strategic partnerships, with media, VIP, influencers and distributors
to extend the reach of the platform and get to new customers.
You'll be based in Dubai with possible travel to Canada
Requirements
You have worked at least 5 years in a relevant position in e-commerce, sales, marketing, business development. Experience in the Fashion industry is welcomed but not required.You are entreprenurial, you can manage complex tasks independently, you are ambitious and energetic. You are a doer, you like to wear many hats when needed
You are based in Dubai, or you are open to relocate to Dubai in the short term.
You have fluent English and French spoken and written, knowing Italian is a plus.
You have a good network to leverage for B2C, B2B and for hiring purposes.
You are enthusiastic about fashion-tech, design and merchandising.
You are great at sales and at establishing human connection within any media. You can create relationship with people, empower them and excite them.
You are data driven, you like to measure results and optimize processes, you have a business oriented mindset and you love to achieve challenging goals.
You are familiar with tech, you understand the dynamics and the flows of a digital product, you can use team communication tools, online chat tools, newsletter tools, CRM tools, Dashboards, and analytics tools.
You are not a classic 9-5 office person. You want to grow, reach challenging goals, meet new people, work internationally, work on the go and fully embrace a cause with an all-in approach.
You love difficult challenges and you are stimulated to work with startups and talented people.
Details
We normally get to speak with 15-20% of the applicants. If we find a fit we will get back to you in less than a week.The first part of the process involve an initial call.
The second part of the process will be a 2 day full working day with us (In Dubai or from Remote).
At the end of the 2 days we will tell you if you are hired for the trial.
The hiring period is divided in two phases, a 3 month trial period, and a 1 year to 3 years contract after the trial.
For this position, you will get rewarded in multiple ways
A base monthly salary
A fixed % bonus based on all sales generated in Canada
Stock in the American holding company with 3 years vesting period (after the trial)
Base Living expenses in Dubai are paid for by the company
All travel expenses are paid by the company
You'll be based in Dubai with possible travel to Canada
