Job Description

Role Purpose

The HR Manager / Senior HR Manager - Morocco acts as the key HR partner for the Morocco business, ensuring full alignment with the Group People Strategy and direction set by the central HR team. Reporting directly to the Group Head of People, this role drives all HR initiatives locally while maintaining consistency with group standards, processes, and frameworks.

The role focuses on enabling business performance through effective people practices, fostering engagement and collaboration, building a strong employer brand, and ensuring full compliance with local labour legislation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic & Functional Alignment

Act as the main HR representative in Morocco, ensuring all HR policies, initiatives, and practices are aligned with the Group People Strategy. Collaborate closely with the central HR team to roll out global programs and adapt them to local needs. Provide country-specific insights to inform group-level decision-making and people planning. Partner with the Country General Manager and leadership team to support business priorities while ensuring adherence to group HR principles and frameworks.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

Oversee and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring aligned with workforce plans. Drive employer branding initiatives in line with group standards, strengthening Hudson's position as an employer of choice in Morocco. Ensure exceptional candidate and employee experience through professional and engaging HR touchpoints.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Provide sound HR advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on employee relations matters. Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, ensuring fairness, legal compliance, and alignment with Hudson's values. Design and implement engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, trust, and belonging. Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring group values are consistently reflected in all people interactions and decisions.
Performance & Talent Development

Oversee and manage the performance appraisal and goal-setting process to drive a culture of accountability and growth. Identify learning and development needs and coordinate with the Group L&D function to deliver relevant interventions. Support the implementation of succession planning and talent management frameworks in collaboration with the central HR team.
HR Operations & Compliance

Lead day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle (excluding payroll), ensuring efficient processes and compliance with group standards. Maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with Moroccan labour law and Group People governance. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of HR data, reporting, and dashboards in collaboration with the Group HRIS team. Support audits and internal reviews, ensuring strong HR documentation and compliance.
Culture, Inclusion & Collaboration

Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and high performance consistent with Hudson's values. Partner with the Group Head of People to embed initiatives around DE&I, wellbeing, and employee experience. Encourage strong collaboration between Morocco HR and the central HR team, ensuring two-way communication and best-practice sharing.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior advisory role. Solid understanding of Moroccan labour law and local employment practices. Experience supporting multi-site or retail operations preferred. Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluent in English and French (Arabic an advantage).
