Co-Teacher

to work collaboratively in our dynamic teaching environment for the

Academic Year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International School of Madinaty

. This role is integral to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in planning, implementing, and assessing instructional strategies and classroom activities. Provide support to students in both independent and group work, facilitating a positive learning environment. Help manage classroom behaviors and promote a culture of respect and cooperation among students. Communicate effectively with the lead teacher to discuss student progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement. Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with specific learning needs. Participate in professional development sessions and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices. Support classroom organization, including maintaining materials and resources, ensuring a safe learning environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. A valid teaching certification or qualification is preferred. Experience in a classroom setting, particularly in a co-teaching or assistant role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that caters to diverse learner needs. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Willingness to adapt and respond to the needs of students and the classroom environment.
