We are committed to delivering excellence, innovation, and value to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer to join our growing team.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer with a background in civil engineering to manage all costs and financial aspects of our construction projects, from initial tendering to final account settlement. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the financial and contractual side of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage all aspects of the tendering process, including sourcing and vetting subcontractors and suppliers. Conduct comprehensive analysis of tender documents and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Perform accurate cost estimations and prepare budgets for new projects. Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they remain within budget. Prepare and submit progress claims and variations. Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best rates and terms. Maintain accurate records of project costs and prepare regular financial reports. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial objectives are met.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of tendering processes, BOQs, and cost control. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, cost estimation software). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
