Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Cost Controller
to oversee and monitor cost control activities across our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing costs, monitoring inventory, preparing reports, and supporting overall cost-efficiency without compromising quality and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control food and beverage costs across all outlets.
Perform monthly food and beverage inventory audits and variance analysis.
Prepare daily and monthly cost reports (F&B cost, waste, transfers, etc.).
Review and verify purchase requisitions, invoices, and stock transfers.
Analyze cost trends and recommend areas for cost reduction or control.
Coordinate with the procurement and store teams to ensure price accuracy.
Monitor recipes and portion control to ensure standard cost practices are followed.
Track wastage, pilferage, and stock discrepancies and investigate variances.
Support the budgeting process and assist in forecasting inventory consumption.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4-7 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.
Work experience in
Qatar
is preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and costing methods.
Proficient in
Excel
, accounting software, and POS/inventory systems (e.g., FMC, Oracle, SAP).
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
